Shorya Beach Resort
Shorya Beach Resort is located just 20 km south of Marsa Alam Town, on Egypt's stunning Red Sea coast.
When completed in 2009, Shorya Beach Resort will be an exclusive beach-front development incorporating 24 detached villas and 48 1-bedroom apartments. The apartments buildings will only have two floors and so purchasers will have a choice of garden apartments or penthouse apartments. Shorya Beach Resort will also include a 204-room luxury hotel.
The villas at Shorya Beach Resort will be set in three staggered rows of 8 villas on large plots, and will be positioned so that each villa has a stunning sea view.
The apartments are being built in low density (just 4 in all), low rise (just two storey) blocks, which are set in landscaped gardens. The land at Shorya Beach Resort rises to 9m above sea level where the apartments are being built and so they will have commanding sea views.
Shorya Beach Resort Location
The location chosen for the development of Shorya Beach Resort has been specially selected to incorporate two private lagoons, which will enable people to dive and snorkel on the house reef in all weather conditions.
The area itself is very scenic with a lovely sweep of bay and a sandy beach.
The Shorya Beach Resort is located approximately 20km from Marsa Alam town, which is seeing substantial building work transfer it from a sleepy backwater to a more vibrant tourist destination.
The Resort is being built in the Dorry area of Marsa Alam, which will have 32 new resort development built along the coast. Shorya Beach Resort is positioned in the mid-point of these developments, and so purchasers at Shorya will benefit from being able to use the facilities at the neighbouring resort developments once constructed.
Shorya is just 79 km south of Marsa Alam International Airport, which has regular flights to and from the UK. The journey to the airport takes approximately 40 minutes.
Shorya Beach Resort will cover an area of approximately 130,000 sqm. It has a private sandy beach that is 350 meters wide and 400 meters deep.
The developers are adamant that they want to preserve the natural marine life in the region, and Shorya is located 5km from a dolphin preservation area.

Shorya Beach Resort Villas
Shorya Beach Resort will include a beach-front development of 24 detached villas set out in three rows of 8 villas. The villas are being built on an elevated plot that is 3m above sea level and so they will all have wonderful views down to the beach.
As this development is still in its pre-launch phase, the details of the villas are still being finalised by the architects. It is anticipated that starting prices for a detached beach-front 3-bed villa in this exclusive development will be approximately GBP£167,000.

Shorya Beach Resort Apartments
Shorya Beach Resort will also include a horseshoe-shaped development of apartment blocks set in landscaped gardens around a communal swimming pool.
The apartment blocks will be positioned behind the villas but as they will be constructed on a higher plot of land, which rises to 9m above seas level, most apartment will also have spectacular sea views.
Each of the 4 apartment blocks will have just two floors with six 1-bed apartments on each floor.
The apartments are available in 3 sizes:
53 sqm. These are the inside two apartments that are shown in the middle of the floorplan. They are on sale for Euro35,200 and are available as a garden apartment with a 13 sqm garden, or a penthouse apartment with a 26sqm private rooftop solarium.
57 sqm. These are the inside two apartments that are shown between the middle and outside apartments on the floorplan. They are on sale for Euro38,500 and are available as a garden apartment with a 13 sqm garden, or a penthouse apartment with a 28sqm private rooftop solarium.
65 sqm. These are the two apartments that are shown at each end of the block in the floorplan. They are on sale for Euro41,800 and are available as a garden apartment with a 13 sqm garden, or a penthouse apartment with a 32 sqm private rooftop solarium.
Purchasers of the ground floor apartments get their own private garden in front of their apartment.
Purchasers of the first (top) floor apartments will have their own private roof-top solarium.
